This half term, we have learned about the relative motions of the sun, moon and earth and that the force of gravity that keeps the earth and moon in their orbits is the same force that causes tides.
In English we enjoyed turning Roald Dahl’s ‘Revolting Rhymes’ poems into play-scripts, and finished off by creating our own Revolting Rhyme type plays. We have explored area and perimeter in maths, and developed our tennis skills in P.E. In P.S.H.E. we explored the mutual nature of rights and responsibilities and what it means to be a citizen.
We looked at some of the features of South America in geography and found out a little about the Vikings in our history classes.
We created Christmas cards complete with a small push-button light in our Design and Technology lessons – hopefully some of these should be coming your way!
