Our collaboration with the Perse School gave us an amazing opportunity to visit the Space Centre in Leicester and to explore our long fascination with the stars. The Perse year 10 students guided the children around the centre helping them to discover more about our intriguing universe
The year 5 pupils sharpened their computer skills by attending a coding discovery day at Cambridge Makespace. The Makespace team introduced the children to Scratch: a programming language that allowed them to create interactive stories and games. The kids took to the day with great enthusiasm and watching them learn and create through using these tools was inspiring.
Eagles class had a fantastic opportunity to be involved with a science project with Sartorius. Over several weeks we conducted lots of different experiments in school using a range of exciting scientific equipment and we thought about how we could conduct a fair test. The project ended with a brilliant trip to Sartorius where we took part in a range of activities and met lots of scientists and engineers. This is a video of our day!
