Fen Ditton Primary School

P.E. and Sport Funding

Enjoyment of sport and physical activity is part of life at Fen Ditton and we try to develop positive attitudes towards sport in our pupils.  There are a wide range of extra curricular clubs on offer and the school regularly competes in competitions against other schools in the local area.

You may have heard in the news over the past few months that the Government have issued additional sports grants to primary schools.

Purpose Of The Funding

The funding must be used to fund improvements to the provision of PE and sport, for the benefit of pupils aged 5-11 years old, so that all pupils develop healthy lifestyles.

Grant Amount

Schools are expected to publish the Grant allocations they receive and details of how the Grant is to be spent.

Fen Ditton is incredibly excited that such an important area can be enhanced and look forward to new and creative initiatives. Click the link below to see how the money has been spent so far.

Sport Premium Evaluation and Impact 2017-2018

SPORT PREMIUM Evaluation and Impact  2016-2017

The school has been working really hard to improve and develop the range of extra curricular clubs on offer. We are really pleased with the impact of the improved sporting club offer.  As you can see below we have almost reached a point where half of the KS2 pupils are attending a sporting club of some description.
