Our Film Festival Entries
In previous years Mrs Nicholls ran a lunchtime Computing Club and taught the computing lessons across the school. During that time we had an illustrious history of entering the Cambridgeshire Young People's Film Festival. Our first entries were in 2009 with How to run a mile and The Story of Egyptian Gods.
In 2010 we entered Bob's Fantasy Game Show Adventure, The Comic Olympics, Feet on the Street, Pom Pom Olympics, Robot Advert, Sensational Laughs, Stan The Starfish is Missing; and The Time Machine Advert.
In 2011 we continued with Australia Today, Do's and Don'ts on our Roads, Our Happy School and Road Safety How to Stay Safe.
As 2012 came, we wanted to celebrate the London Olympics and entered Going for Gold Our Animation Olympics as well as How to Train your Puppy, Moving House (V2), Recycling Police and What we call fun!(My Great movie).
2013 saw Swampie; The Edwards Twins and the New School Friend taking their place in the Festival.
We followed in 2016 with The Frog's Lunch and finally in 2017 with Shipwreck Chaos.
Our efforts have been rewarded with many Highly Commended, 3 third places, 3 second places, 3 First places and 2 Best in Festival awards.
Now that the ICT Service are no longer running the festival they have kindly provided links where several of the above films can be viewed. Mrs Nicholls would like you to know that for her, it has been a priviledge to support, encourage and watch the amazing creativity of our children over the years.
